Weight Loss Completed?

Weight Loss Challenge Completed?

So weight loss deadline arrived and my final weigh in was……12.6 stone (80.2kg) Now even though I missed my goal by 0.2 stone (1.2kg) I still feel good about the whole process as I know myself that I probably could have cut the last 1.2kg however it would have been at the expense of some strength loss which I preferred to keep.

I was a lot faster and fitter on the ice which in the end was my main goal. The whole journey was worth it, even all those times running on the treadmill with a broken rib. Iv proved to myself that if I put the work in I can achieve a target. One thing I did find however was that as soon as I felt close to my goal I started letting me eating habits get a bit relaxed and ate some junk food now and again because I just kept telling myself ‘Ah but Im nearly at my goal weight so its all good’ try to avoid falling into this mindset. I done it because I started to feel like the last few kilos were costing me strength loss. But if your main objective is to lose weight to look and feel better, stick to your goal and you will get there. Just remember its not a quick process and setting small goals every week will make it more enjoyable in the long run.

Good luck on your own weight loss journey and feel free to get in touch if you have any questions about any struggles you are having along the way, I can almost bet it’s the same ones I had.
